Welcome back to Rediscover Japan! In this article, I would like to share about how Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea are going during COVID-19.
Although they were temporarily closed during the state of emergency, it has been open with limited numbers of visitors since it was lifted. Therefore, you cannot use a regular one-day pass, but need to purchase a date-specific pass in advance at the official website.
In addition, don’t forget to install the app(For iPhone, For Android) to get information and standby pass which will be needed to queue popular attractions in the park.
It is easily accessible from the center of Tokyo, taking only about 20 minutes from Tokyo Station on Keiyo(京葉) Line. This is a bit of trivia, but although Tokyo Disney Resort is named “Tokyo”, it is actually located in neighboring Chiba Prefecture.
And I’ve created a short film which was shot in Tokyo DisneyLand and Tokyo DisneySea, please watch it if you’re interested.
Even though it is smaller than the original Disneyland in the U.S., you still need a whole day to enjoy each park. If you are planning to go to both of them, I would recommend setting aside two days.
That’s it for today. See you guys soon!
