In this article, I’m sharing with you that I’ve uploaded a time-lapse compilation in 8K UHD to YouTube. Here is the video. Please watch it in high resolution settings.
And every clip was shot in Tokyo, so I’m sharing with you where the locations are as well below.
Kasai Seaside Park is located across the sea from Disneyland. For a limited time in winter, you can watch the sunrise from directly behind Cinderella Castle in Tokyo Disney Land, as shown in this video.
Asakusa is a unique blend of tradition and modernity, a city that should not be missed when talking about Japan or Tokyo. I recommend Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center where I’ve already mentioned in the other article.
Tokyo Tower was built in 1958 and is one of the symbols of Japan. Personally, I prefer the design of Tokyo Tower to that of Tokyo Skytree. This time I shot a time-lapse movie from near Akabanebashi station.
The Harumi Wharf offers a panoramic view of Odaiba. It is now temporarily closed due to COVID-19. The view is way better in the evening and at night.
Ginza is a district full of fashionable shops and restaurants. The large number of people coming and going in Ginza made for interesting time-lapse footage. If you are interested in where to shoot the night images, please refer to the the other article.
Ochanomizu is located next to Akihabara, the famous anime town. You can see the canal and the trains every few minutes from Hijiri Bridge.
Wakasu Seaside Park is one of the best places to see the sunset view in Tokyo. If the weather is good, you can see Mt Fuji. You can also see a lot of aeroplanes that have just taken off from Haneda Airport.
Shibuya is one of the busiest downtowns in Japan. And Shibuya Sky is a new landmark that offers a great view of the city from above. It will cost you 1800 yen to enter the building, but definitely worth it.
Shinjuku, along with Shibuya, is one of the busiest downtowns in Japan. The neon street goes well with time-lapse. In the end, be careful not to be ripped off when you hang out around this area!
That’s it for today. See you guys soon!
