Welcome back to Rediscover Japan! In this article, I would like to introduce attractive spots around Mt.Fuji. Each place is not that far away from others, so I think you can visit them all in a day. One thing to note is that there is no public transportation to get to some of those places, so I recommend renting a car and driving around by yourselves.
Shiraito Waterfall is located in the southwest of Mt.Fuji and known as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Japan. It is only 20 meters high, but it stretches for 150 meters and is just an amazing view. Shiraito(白糸) means threads of silk in Japanese, and this view will make you understand the origin of its name.
There are parking lots which are 5 minutes walk to Shiraito Waterfall. In addition, there are some souvenir shops on the way there, so you will never be bored.
